hey. My name is Michael, or Mike, or zxcv. I’m a 31 year old father of five(!) from the rural midwest, United States. This is my personal website, named after the community I founded in 2007. Here you’ll find a small collection of my creative endeavors. I’ve been writing sporadically for over 25 years, though many of my works have never been read by anyone else. In the future, I plan on expanding my creative ideas to photography, music, and eventually film. Though my background is in tech, no generative AI is used at any point in my creative process.
In my personal life, I’m a proud father to five wonderful children — 4 from a previous marriage, and my youngest daughter (pictured on the right). I’m very much an art nerd who examines the world of music, film, and video games as high forms of art. I also enjoy cartography, politics, and history, especially studying modern culture through a historical framework.
